Pauline Pauline was the first partner for Pummel. Since Pummel was our only pig for a while, she had some trouble in the beginning. This was a huge stress for Pauline and she became seriously sick. But she survived.

Later on everything was fine with those two. Pauline developed her own strategies against Pummel. When Pummel wanted to push her away (no matter from where) she made herself heavy as a rock and just sat there until Pummel became frustrated and gave up.

Pauline was a singer. She sang at very different times: very early in the morning (5 am!), late at night, during the day. It was really loud! Pummel always sat there like a statue while Pauline was singing.

Pauline didn't really like to be held on the arm and she had a good trick to be released: she pretended to have a full bladder, and since we never knew if it was for real or not, her little trick always worked.

At the age of 3 years she died without any obvious reason. She seemed fine in the morning. In the afternoon, when I came home, she died. I'm pretty sure, that she is now sitting on a cloud singing her little song.
