Luna was a rescue from Cavyspirit. She moved in together with Patty on January 25, 2003.

Luna was a not so little wild thing. Nothing was save from her - no house, no ramp. She jumped on top of practically everything. She was very curious and had to mingle all the time. She was very friendly and got along just great with the rest of the group. As an adult, she developed quite some dominant behavior. For a while she was fighting for the leadership position. Once she reached the top she became quite peaceful.

She was the loudest pig I have. You may not have seen her (because you are in a different room) but you sure have heard her. As soon as I moved, Luna came out squealing. It was very cute, and sometimes annoying.

Just like Patty, Luna stems from the Hollister crowd, but unlike Patty, Luna is the offspring of a Hollister sow (Solar) and was born in foster care.

Luna died on July 20, 2008, just short of her sixed birthday, of cancer. She is dearly missed.
